Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech and language therapy services for clients with developmental disabilities. You'll also train and mentor families, students, and professionals in communication development and disorders.
π ResponsibilitiesAs an SLP with Tresco, you will:
- Plan and implement innovative programs for children and families.
- Identify and diagnose communication and oropharyngeal disorders.
- Provide habilitation, rehabilitation, and prevention services.
- Refer families to appropriate medical or professional resources as needed.
- Assist in the development of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
- Guide parents and professionals in understanding developmental status.
- Deliver both center-based and home-based therapy services.
- Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team using a family-centered approach.
- Train parents and professionals through workshops and one-on-one support.
- Travel statewide as required for service delivery and training.
- Support childcare and child development activities as needed.
π Qualifications- Education: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure: Current SLP license from the State of New Mexico.
- Certification: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Preferred: Bilingual skills (Spanish).
- Other Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License & clean driving record.
- Background check & post-offer drug screen.
