Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with specifications.
• Proficient in recommending materials and technical specifications requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software.
• Commitment to active participation in a collaborative, employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design development and contract document specifications for technical projects.
• Write technical specifications in compliance with project requirements and regulations.
• Create bid sheets and measurement/payment sections of specifications.
• Assist with legal and 'front end' specifications, including general conditions documents.
• Recommend materials and oversee document production for technical specifications.
• Maintain and modify master specification sections in line with industry changes.
• Perform additional duties as required.
