Full Job Description
Reporting to the Associate Director, Procurement Governance & Compliance, you will administer key procurement governance programs and support policy, compliance, reporting and continuous improvement activities. You will work with stakeholders across the organization to strengthen controls, maintain accurate program records, and promote consistent application of corporate procurement requirements.
As Specialist, Procurement Governance, you will:
Administer the Corporate Purchasing Card Program, including applications, profile maintenance, spend limit changes, renewals, cancellations and supporting documentation.
Complete recurring PCard system administration and reconciliation activities, resolve discrepancies and coordinate issue resolution with Finance and other stakeholders.
Review applications and supporting documentation, identify risks or compliance concerns, and provide recommendations for approval.
Monitor program activity, maintain records, track outstanding actions, and support compliance with governance requirements.
Develop and maintain procedures, user guides, communications, training materials, and program documentation.
Support the intake, assessment, and tracking of Governance & Compliance requests, including preliminary analysis and documentation.
Conduct research, process reviews, and gap analyses to strengthen governance processes and internal controls.
Support policy development, compliance monitoring, reviews, audits and governance initiatives, including documenting exceptions and control gaps.
Prepare reports, dashboards, metrics and analysis on program performance, spending trends, exceptions, policy violations, and operational effectiveness.
Identify opportunities to improve program administration through process improvements, automation, and technology-enabled solutions.
This unionized position is classified at the Band 5 level, with an hourly wage rate of $41.38, based on a 37.5 hour work week. As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete a test.
