The Department of Surgery, Division of Trauma & Emergency Surgery, in the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is seeking a qualified individual for the full-time academic faculty position of Specialist (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner).

Candidates should have excellent clinical, decision-making, organizational and motivational skills, and should have a strong commitment to academic and clinical excellence.

Candidates must be a Master's prepared Family and Adult Nurse Practitioner or a certified Physician Assistant with advanced knowledge and experience in the surgical intensive care unit setting, surgical floor, and trauma clinic and must possess independent critical care procedural skills.
