- Training of the Body shop Team Members/Team Leaders/Supervisors/Specialists/Technicians/ occasionally
management - Developing generic Lean training and training for fundamental skills needed in a body shop.
- Serve as Lead Trainer for Fundamental Skills modules for the Body shop department.
- Developing training for process and quality improvement.
- Identifies annual training needs and training gaps in the department and throughout organization
- Planning and facilitation of the training, qualification, recording of documentation including retention of records
using both the LMS and/or other tracking systems. Ent to end responsibility for training. - Negotiate with Department management, develop and announce training schedule.
- Issues certification of competence for the position for body shop Trainees.
- Investigate equipment requirements and develop proposal for budget planning.
- Develop Training curriculum and Introduce training data into a learning management system.
- Collect and evaluation of data, analyze data and develop dashboards
- Conduct performance gap analysis/problem solving to determine the root cause of defects.
- Support teams in problem solving activities.
- Participate in CIP workshops to meet and exceed company goals and objectives.
- Develop Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and AI training.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Blythewood, South Carolina
- This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- High school diploma, bachelor's degree or work experience in an automotive tier 1 body shop
- Adaptability to work outside of normal office hours or shift work for ramp up
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in body shop automotive manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Experience in Training of production team members/team leaders/supervisors/specialists/technicians
- Experience in Lean Management: Six sigma, Production Systems, lean principles
- Documentation that verifies the following: Employment letters and training records; and manufacturing or
automation experience - Problem solving skills
- Production system skills: 5s, 8 types of waste, identify defects, quality check and repair on car surfaces,
- Coordination and communication skills

Pay TransparencyThis is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial Base Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $112,500.00
Internal Leveling Code: IC9
