Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Scrub and assist physicians during diagnostic/interventional angiographic procedures.
  • Operate angiographic equipment to obtain and optimize diagnostic imaging.
  • Set up sterile tables for specific angiographic/implant procedures.
  • Scrub procedures in one or two specialties including Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, or Interventional Neuro-Radiology.
  • Complete department orientation and gain approval from team leaders and management for competency.

Full Job Description

Summary:
A clinically competent professional who works collaboratively with RNs and physicians in the cardiology and radiology angiography suites to provide radiologic assistance for procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Scrub and assist physicians during diagnostic/interventional angiographic procedures.
  • Operates angiographic equipment to obtain and optimize diagnostic imaging.
  • Responsible for sterile table set-up for specific angiographic/implant procedures.
  • Competent to scrub procedures 1 to 2 of the following specialties: Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, or Interventional Neuro-Radiology.
  • Competency is determined by the successful completion of department orientation and contingent on team leader and management approval.

Required Qualifications:

Education and Training:

  • Valid Illinois RT license, ARRT and IEMA certifications required.

Work Shift Details:

Days: 10 hours, 10hr day shift, 8-10 days per month of on-call requirement.

The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.

The expected pay for this position is listed below:

$35.76 - $45.60
