Position OverviewJoin us in supporting the United States Space Command (USSPACECOM), one of the nation's eleven unified combatant commands responsible for space operations critical to joint warfighting. We are seeking an experienced Intelligence Analyst to serve as an embedded contractor supporting the USSPACECOM J2 directorate and the Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC) at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate brings direct experience in SOF and/or Cyber collection environments, understands the authorities governing those activities, and can integrate that expertise with space-enabled intelligence to support multi-domain planning and senior leadership decision-making.
Responsibilities- Advise the USSPACECOM J2 on collection operations relevant to SOF and Cyber missions, including authorities, tradecraft, and integration touchpoints with space-enabled intelligence
- Support intelligence sharing and coordination between USSPACECOM, USSOCOM, USCYBERCOM, and relevant interagency partners
- Conduct collection management, OSINT, space and counterspace analysis, and intelligence assessments in support of J2/JIOC priorities
- Contribute to integrated analysis products requiring combined space-domain and SOF/Cyber perspectives, including production of intelligence reports and executive briefing products for senior and flag-level leadership
- Support counter-intelligence planning where SOF and Cyber activities intersect with space operations
- Map the current intelligence acquisition landscape to identify convergence points with SOF and Cyber programs and develop prioritized recommendations for near- and long-term capability development
- Maintain strict operational security (OPSEC), manage classification levels (TS/SCI, SAP, ACCM), and ens271ure compliance with applicable legal and policy frameworks
- Utilize classified collaboration environments (SIPRNet, JWICS) to manage and disseminate compartmented intelligence products
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (intelligence studies, national security affairs, political science, or related field)
- 8+ years of intelligence analysis or collection management in a SOF, Cyber, joint, or Combatant Command headquarters environment
- Direct experience supporting USSOCOM, USCYBERCOM, or their subordinate components, with a working knowledge of how those organizations collect intelligence and govern collection authorities
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality intelligence products, briefings, and assessments under high-pressure, short-suspense conditions
- Proficiency with classified systems and tools including SIPRNet and JWICS

Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree in intelligence studies, national security affairs, space policy, or a related field
- Prior direct experience supporting USSPACECOM, J2/JIOC or another Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) intelligence directorate
- SR (Special Reconnaissance) qualification or equivalent SOF intelligence credential
- Familiarity with space domain awareness, satellite communications, missile warning, or space control missions and their intelligence equities
- Experience with all-source analysis, collection management tradecraft, and interagency coordination in a compartmented environment
- Background in counterintelligence operations or support to sensitive activities planning
Pay TransparencyThe salary range for this role is $130,000 - $180,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
