The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee spares plan for assigned product lines across lifecycle stages (NPI, ramp, sustaining, EOL) to ensure right spares inventory for current, mature, and new products, are positioned at the right place and time, to support KLA customers.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously optimize spares plans to meet Fill Rate targets and customer service commitment. Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis for deviations to plan
  • Monitor and report performance metrics including Fill Rate, service levels, and planned vs. actual inventory
  • Proactively analyze demand signals, install base changes, and lifecycle events to adjust plans dynamically
  • Review and validate system-generated planning recommendations, applying subject matter expertise to refine outputs through vetted and approved exceptions. Partner with Business Intelligence Team to incorporate advanced analytics to improve forecasts.
  • Provide Root Cause/Corrective Action for Excess & No Demand (E&ND) inventory of assigned spare parts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Regional Planning, Product Support Organization (PSO), Supply Planning, Program Managers, etc.) to incorporate business/customer/technical insights into demand plan
  • Asking the right questions to ensure clarity and alignment across teams during high-stress, ambiguous situations
  • Providing crisp and timely communication on developing issues to relevant internal and external customers. Keeping leadership informed of customer impact and progress of recovery efforts
  • Partner with supply planning team and procurement to design supply chain solution recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data, commodity, and product knowledge; present proposals and recommendations to senior management and leaders; track and ensure implementation and execution.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Product Support (PSO), Procurement, and Logistics to resolve constraints and improve outcomes. Hold accountable owners to quality inputs and give visibility to upstream issues impacting spares planning to management
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to planning processes, tools, and reporting


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in service supply chain, spares planning, demand planning, or inventory management in complex manufacturing environment; strong preference for experience in semiconductor equipment industry or other complex, high-mix, low-volume products
  • Familiarity with planning systems (e.g., SAP, IBP, Baxter/Prophet, or similar tools)
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI or other business intelligence/analytical tools/services is a plus
  • High proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint
  • Statistics, SQL, Python a plus
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments with Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and trends
  • Effective communication skills with ability to work across global teams
  • Understanding of: inventory planning fundamentals and service level concepts; product lifecycle (NPI through end-of-life); BOM structures, FRU planning, or service product hierarchy concepts


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, demand planning, inventory planning, or related role
  • Experience working with data and planning tools (Excel required; ERP or planning systems preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and execute in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Process oriented with proven experience turning big data into meaningful analyses that lead to actionable results for supply chain operations
  • Strong data and analytical skills and track record for creating processes to improve business performance
  • Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity, identify gaps, and implement innovative solutions to increase operational efficiency
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable plans
  • Ability to identify key insights and critical thinking to prioritize and focus on highest value opportunities or biggest risks
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Base Pay Range: $72,700.00 - $123,600.00 Annually

Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLA
