Spare Parts Storeroom Manager - JLL

What this the job involves: The Spare Parts Storeroom Manager will oversee the strategic procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations for spare parts and general materials across the site. This role provides leadership to specialized procurement and storeroom team while ensuring optimal inventory levels, cost efficiency, and operational excellence in supporting building maintenance and facility management operations.

What does your day-to-day will look:
  • Direct and mentor the Maintenance Spare Parts Procurement Specialists and Storeroom Coordinator
  • Develop team performance goals and conduct regular evaluations
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities
  • Foster collaboration between procurement and storeroom operations
  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide spare parts procurement strategies
  • Oversee supplier relationship management and contract negotiations
  • Review and approve emergency procurement decisions
  • Drive standardization initiatives across multiple properties
  • Establish procurement policies and procedures
  • Set inventory management policies and optimal stock levels
  • Monitor inventory performance metrics and turnover rates
  • Oversee warranty and repair opportunity programs
  • Implement cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate consolidated purchasing strategies across portfolios
  • Ensure effective utilization of CMMS and Procurement systems
  • Drive system integration and data accuracy initiatives
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
  • Develop and manage department budgets
  • Analyze procurement and inventory costs
  • Generate executive-level reporting and analytics
  • Track key performance indicators and cost savings
  • Support budget planning and forecasting processes
  • Interface with property management teams and facility operations
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships at executive level
  • Collaborate with maintenance leadership on parts requirements
  • Coordinate with finance teams on procurement processes
  • Support client needs and address escalated concerns


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years progressive experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain operations
  • 3+ years management or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of building systems and maintenance operations


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial real estate or facility management
  • Life Science, pharmaceutical, bio-tech background or similar industry
  • Professional certifications in supply chain or procurement (CPSM, CSCP, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of IBM Maximo CMMS and JDE ERP systems
  • Experience with SAP systems
