Solutions EngineerYou've moved past following the playbook. Now you write it.
The JobAs a Solutions Engineer, you lead implementation engagements end-to-end. You know the platforms well enough to configure them confidently, understand systems deeply enough to integrate them cleanly, and have the AI instincts to know when - and how - to introduce intelligence into a workflow. You work directly with clients, owning the technical relationship from discovery through delivery and beyond.
This is not a support role or a coordination role. You're building real things for real clients and owning the result.
What You'll Do- Lead client engagements from discovery through delivery - owning the technical implementation, the client relationship, and the outcome.
- Design and build solutions across the partner ecosystem (Zendesk, Zoom CX, Workato, Observe.ai, and others), including configurations, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.
- Translate client needs into technical specifications - working with Specialists on execution and engaging Architects on complex design challenges.
- Build and deploy AI-powered workflows, including agentic automations that reduce manual effort and improve client operations.
- Document what you build - implementation guides, integration specs, workflow diagrams - so clients operate confidently and the team can build on your work.
- Manage issues and escalations with a systems mindset: fix the immediate problem and close the door so it doesn't come back.
- Support pre-sales conversations when your technical perspective adds value.
Who You Are- 3-5 years of experience implementing and administering SaaS platforms in client-facing roles - you've owned implementations, not just supported them.
- Hands-on experience with CX platforms (Zendesk, Zoom Contact Center, or similar) and workflow automation tools (Workato, Zapier, Make, or similar).
- Working knowledge of APIs, JSON, and systems integration - you understand how platforms talk to each other and why they sometimes don't.
- Real experience building and deploying AI-powered workflows, with solid instincts for what agentic AI can realistically do inside a business process.
- Strong client communication skills - you can run a technical working session, manage expectations under pressure, and explain a complex solution clearly to a non-technical audience.
- Documentation habits that make the next person's job easier, not harder.
- A systems thinker who solves for root causes, not just immediate symptoms.
- The MacGyver instinct - you figure things out even when the answer isn't in the documentation.
- High EQ, personal accountability, and a sense of humor.
