Job Summary:
The Solution Architect Consultant will be responsible for assessing and defining the future-state solution architecture by evaluating ServiceNow platform capabilities, conducting fit-gap analysis, and identifying integration and data requirements. The role involves designing workflow and system architecture recommendations, developing implementation roadmaps, and providing technical recommendations. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical personnel to ensure that proposed solutions align with business requirements and enterprise architecture standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess the current application and business process environment and document architectural considerations.
• Analyze business and functional requirements gathered during discovery and business analysis activities.
• Evaluate ServiceNow platform capabilities and determine alignment with business needs.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and identify solution options, constraints, and recommendations.
• Design and document future-state solution architecture.
• Define system components, workflows, integrations, interfaces, and data flow requirements.
• Identify technical dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations.
• Develop architecture diagrams, technical recommendations, and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project team members, and State personnel to validate solution designs.
• Recommend best practices for ServiceNow implementation, configuration, and governance.
• Support the development of implementation strategies and roadmaps.
• Provide guidance on scalability, maintainability, security, and operational considerations.
• Present architectural findings, recommendations, and future-state solution designs to project stakeholders.
• Support the preparation of final project deliverables, reports, and executive presentations.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of Solution Architecture experience.
• Minimum 3 years of ServiceNow platform experience, including solution design and architecture.
• Experience designing enterprise application solutions and technology roadmaps.
• Experience evaluating business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Experience conducting fit-gap analysis and developing future-state architecture recommendations.
• Experience with workflow automation, process modernization, and system optimization initiatives.
• Experience identifying integration requirements, data flows, interfaces, and system dependencies.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow modules, platform capabilities, and best practices.
• Experience developing solution architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation recommendations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience supporting digital transformation or enterprise software implementation projects.
