Job Summary
The Software Quality Engineer (SQE) will provide quality assurance and validation support for the transition and consolidation of two existing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)/Preventive Maintenance System (PMS)-related systems into IBM Maximo, including associated maintenance and spare-parts data. The role focuses on change control, software validation, data migration validation, and quality oversight throughout the implementation lifecycle. The broader implementation is targeted for completion by the end of 2027.
Key Responsibilities
• Support change control and validation activities associated with the Maximo implementation.
• Review validation and quality documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures.
• Execute and review the validation documents required throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Provide quality oversight for implementation activities affecting manufacturing systems, equipment, and production operations.
• Support data migration validation activities as information is transitioned from legacy systems into Maximo.
• Support production line validation and validation of software applications and systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Ensure validation activities align with applicable SDLC/lifecycle methodologies and GAMP 5 principles.
• Assist with additional base-business quality and validation activities as needed alongside the implementation.
Required Qualifications
• 5-10 years of relevant Quality/Validation experience.
• Experience supporting production line validation.
• Experience validating software applications and systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with data migration and associated validation activities.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)/lifecycle methodologies and GAMP 5.
• Experience with manufacturing lines, equipment, and systems.
• Experience with change control.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with IBM Maximo, particularly CMMS implementation and validation.
• Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience.
• SAP experience.
• Previous experience supporting a CMMS/PMS migration or implementation.
