ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED
The Software Engineer supports the CASA Compute Environment (CCE) SaaS team and core mission services. The CCE delivers on-demand, containerized services provisioned and accessed within a Kubernetes cluster. In this role, the engineer drives the maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous upgrading of containerized applications, collaborates directly with customers using the CCE platform, and engineers new software solutions to expand CCE functionality and services.
The annual base salary range for this role is $186,000-$220,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills
Linux Systems Proficiency: Practical experience using the Linux CLI and standard Linux administration tools.
Software Development: Recent hands-on software development experience utilizing Python and Java.
Scripting & Automation: Demonstrated experience writing Bash and PHP scripts to automate administrative tasks and system workflows.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Solid understanding of IaC concepts and experience with automation tools such as Ansible.
CI/CD Methodologies: Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment principles and tools, specifically GitLab CI.
Containerization: Direct experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker within containerized/Kubernetes environments.
Version Control: Experience using Git for source code management, branching workflows, and team collaboration.
Technical Documentation: Proven ability to create clear documentation for system configurations, operational procedures, and system updates.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, or a related discipline, PLUS 8+ years of specialized data analytics or financial intelligence experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 13+ years of hands-on intelligence analysis, financial tracking, and data discovery experience in lieu of a degree.
