Standard Job DescriptionThe WorkLockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a Software Developer. In this role, you will perform tasks supporting Navy programs. The successful candidate will have experience with integrating containerized components within Kubernetes orchestration environments and a keen ability to integrate and troubleshoot complex systems built on Linux.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate will be required to hold an active government Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM field with 2+ years of related experience; or equivalent education/experience.
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices and containerized legacy applications on Kubernetes clusters.
- Strong background integrating containerized components within Kubernetes orchestration environments.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, K3s) and related tooling.
- Hands-on experience with Helm for packaging and managing Kubernetes applications.
- Experience with BASH and/or Python
- Expertise of Linux development, integration, and troubleshooting
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Desired SkillsDesired skills :
- Experience in DevSecOps and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of C++ or Java software development
- Experience with Virtualization using KVM
- Experience with Ansible
- Experience with Gitlab
- Desire to troubleshoot and integrate complex software systems
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $91200.00 - $169400.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
