Description

This position supports an established contract developing mission-critical operations. Our customer's framework continues to evolve. Evaluating, learning, and integrating new technologies will be a constant factor in this position. The responsibilities of this role include:
- Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment
- Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
- Write well-designed, testable code
- Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
- Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
- Comply with project plans and industry standards
- Ensure software is updated with the latest features
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using Agile methods
- 5+ years of experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
- Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
- Experience in software architecture or technical design leadership
- Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
- Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in CS or Engineering
Preferred Qualifications- Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
- Experience with Java, Python, C#, C/C++, Go, JavaScript, React, or NodeJS
- Experience developing in Linux or Unix environments
- Experience leading engineering teams or architectural strategy
- Knowledge of modeling tools such as Cameo, SysML, UML, or similar
- Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
- Master's degree
