Full Job Description
*This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Fullscope Polygraph clearance to be considered.*

ProSync is seeking a strong C++ developer to join the core team, supporting ingest processing and the development of mission-critical software components. The engineer will work on high-complexity systems that require deep expertise in modern C++ development, strong analytical skills, and the ability to contribute to specialized processing pipelines. This role supports a mission environment where reliability, performance, and precision are essential.

Responsibilities:
  • C++ Component Development - Design, develop, and maintain core C++ components supporting ingest processing and mission workflows.
  • Ingest Processing - Build and optimize ingest pipelines that process mission data efficiently and reliably.
  • High-Complexity System Support - Work on large-scale, mission-critical systems requiring advanced engineering discipline and precision.
  • Modern Software Engineering - Apply modern development practices, including modular design, efficient memory management, and performance optimization.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration - Collaborate with the core team and mission stakeholders to refine requirements, improve system behavior, and deliver reliable capabilities.
  • Code Quality & Reviews - Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Documentation & Sustainment - Produce clear technical documentation and support long-term sustainment of mission software components.


Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus fourteen (14) years of software engineering experience (OR) in lieu of a degree, a total of eighteen (18) or more years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong experience developing mission-critical software in C++.
  • Experience building or supporting ingest processing pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex mission systems.
  • An active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph is required.
