We are looking for an experienced Engineer, disciplined in Software Engineer II to join our TCMA team in Huntsville, Alabama. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing Agile software engineering processes and activities.
What You Will Do:- Design, implement, and evaluate software in C++, Python and/or Ada within the Agile framework.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with other engineers in the planning, design, and development of military technology.
- Work closely with cross-functional research teams to evaluate the effectiveness of early software prototypes.
- Independently perform multiple tasks given support from a mentor.
- Implement requirements, detailed design, implementing software, integration, and verification in accordance with software development processes.
- Accomplish tasks based on program schedule, collaborate with teammates to make the best decisions.
- Enjoy learning new technologies, be self-motivated and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications You Must Have:- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- In-depth experience in software architecture, design and development using languages such as C, C++, Java, Ada or Python.
- Experience in an Agile environment.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
