Full Job Description
Full Stack Software Engineer to join a mission-critical enterprise geospatial intelligence program operating under DevSecOps and Agile methodologies. The role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance. The selected candidate will be embedded in an Agile scrum team, contributing to the design, development, and sustainment of a large-scale enterprise application that manages collection, exploitation, dissemination, and production requirements across a broad network of data suppliers. This is an exciting opportunity to work on operationally significant software that directly supports national intelligence missions.

Responsibilities:

As a member of an Agile scrum team, the engineer will plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities including designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software containing logical and mathematical solutions to mission-critical problems. The engineer will apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the full development lifecycle; leverage knowledge of computer hardware, software, and information processing techniques to build and improve applications; correct program errors; compile program documentation; and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions related to program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Java development, including writing, modifying, and troubleshooting Java code
  • Navigating and troubleshooting multiple operating system environments including Linux and Windows

Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Large-scale software development and CI/CD integration pipeline experience using Docker, Chef, Git, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Conductor, Kafka/Zookeeper, Consul, and CMDB
  • COTS/FOSS integration and support
  • Agile development including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and associated tools such as VersionOne and Jira
  • Cloud infrastructure concepts and implementation
  • Development tools and technologies including Angular, Oracle, Docker, SQL, Git, DevSecOps, and automated testing
  • Big data technologies including data ingest, analytics, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, GitOps pipelines, Kinetica, and COTS integration
  • Database and SQL development using Oracle DBMS, PostgreSQL, SQL, PL/SQL, MongoDB, and MySQL RDS
  • Python development
  • AI and Machine Learning technologies

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required; must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
