The Software Engineer's primary job responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, implementing, and testing new software features across the full stack
- Innovating and improving existing products and platforms
- Analyzing functional requirements and product specifications
- Researching, adopting, and integrating new technologies
- Taking ownership of projects to ensure their successful completion with respect to deadlines
- Collaborating with Quality Assurance in developing test plans to ensure successful deployment of updates
- Working cross-functionally with Product Management, Device Engineering, and Quality Engineering teams
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS- B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar engineering program with strong academic performance
- Self-starter, analytical, and a tenacious problem solver
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Rigorous attention to detail with a focus on robustness, scalability, and quality of deliverables
- Proven team experience and comfort in a team-oriented environment
- Passion for working with technology and excitement for creating high-quality consumer technology products
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, C#, and SQL Server
- Familiarity with web and mobile application development
- Experience with wireless communication technologies (GSM, RF, Z-Wave, Zigbee, Bluetooth) a plus
- Experience with IoT devices and cloud-based development a plus

The base salary range of this opportunity is listed below and is determined within a range based on factors including qualifications, location and experience. This allows opportunity for growth and development within the role. The base salary offered is part of a total compensation package.
