The Role
Fidelity Charitable's Technology group is adding a Software Developer in Test in Durham. In this role, you will use your software development and test automation expertise to design and build scalable testing solutions for technology that helps our customers securely accomplish their philanthropic goals.
You'll collaborate closely with software developers and other engineers in test to expand automation coverage, improve testing capabilities, reduce risk, and ensure our applications consistently meet business expectations. Fidelity Charitable is a highly collaborative organization with a strong emphasis on cross-team partnership, internal mobility, and career growth.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
The Team
Fidelity Charitable is a 501(c)(3) public charity. We help donors maximize their generosity through our donor-advised fund, called the Giving Account. Established in 1991, we are the nation’s top grantmaker, distributing $18.3 billion to charities in 2025.
Fidelity’s Charitable Technology group develops the next-generation technologies that directly impacts how customers accomplish their philanthropic goals. As a member of the Fidelity Philanthropic Services business unit, you will help Fidelity Charitable applications evolve through hands-on software development, technical mentoring, and cross-team collaboration with a diverse, co-located engineering team, while also visualizing customer issues as drivers for internal change.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
Our team will look into this right away.
