As a Software Development Engineer in Quality team, you will build automation frameworks, testing infrastructure, and intelligent quality capabilities that protect the experiences and transactions of millions of users-all while using AI as an integral part of your daily workflow. Responsibilities: - Design and build robust, high-quality test automation frameworks and tools for functional, regression, and performance testing, improving automated defect detection for both existing and new features. - Participate in product requirement and architecture reviews to understand business logic, system architecture, and potential risks, shifting quality activities earlier in the design and development lifecycle. - Use AI-assisted development tools throughout the workflow to accelerate coding, test design, and script maintenance. Review AI-generated code and test cases for correctness before deployment. - Develop AI-powered testing capabilities, including LLM and agent-based test-data generation, intelligent UI exploration, log analysis, defect detection, triage and fixing. - Support AI-powered product features by designing evaluation datasets and acceptance criteria for scenarios such as search, recommendations, and intelligent customer service. Develop evaluation methods for non-deterministic outputs. - Proactively identify quality and stability bottlenecks. Analyze quality metrics, including defect trends, test coverage, and automation stability, and continuously improve engineering processes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. - Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networks, and databases. - Hands-on experience with at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, Go, or C++, along with a fundamental understanding of system design. - Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and an understanding of how to validate and review their output. - Strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, and ability to learn quickly. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience building AI-powered applications or working with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or agent development through internships or open-source projects. - Experience applying AI to test automation, including test-case generation, script development and maintenance, intelligent execution, and defect analysis, to improve testing efficiency and quality. - Exposure to AI evaluation systems, model-output quality analysis, or evaluation-dataset development. - Demonstrated software engineering or quality engineering experience through internships, professional work, coding competitions, or personal projects. - Curiosity about emerging technologies and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, multicultural, and geographically distributed team.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $128000 - $256000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
