Job Summary
Technology & Product Security is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join an Identity & Access Management (IAM) engineering team supporting enterprise applications and internal tools focused on security, authentication, authorization, and identity management. The role requires strong hands-on experience across frontend and backend development, including modern Angular, Java 17, Spring Boot, REST API development, AWS cloud technologies, and secure application development. The selected candidate will independently analyze technical problems, propose solution designs, contribute to architecture discussions, lead development efforts, provide technical guidance to less-experienced team members, and support modernization and migration of applications to AWS cloud-native architectures.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade security and IAM applications
• Develop and maintain modern frontend applications using recent versions of Angular
• Develop backend services and application components using Java 17 and Spring Boot
• Design, build, secure, and maintain RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations
• Implement and support authentication and authorization capabilities using Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and JWT
• Apply secure coding practices and ensure applications meet security, compliance, and vulnerability management standards
• Participate in security scans, remediation efforts, code reviews, and technical troubleshooting
• Contribute independently to application and solution design and provide technical recommendations
• Participate in architecture discussions and collaborate with architecture teams on technical designs and implementation approaches
• Support modernization and migration of existing applications from on-premises environments to AWS cloud-native architectures
• Develop and maintain cloud-native, serverless, and containerized applications within AWS
• Work with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, ECS/Fargate, and related cloud services
• Support containerized application development and deployment using Docker
• Develop and maintain integrations with relational and NoSQL databases, primarily MySQL, with exposure to MongoDB and other data technologies
• Work with caching technologies such as Redis where applicable
• Lead and guide less-experienced developers by providing technical direction, mentoring, and development best practices
• Coordinate technical work and integrations across development, architecture, DevOps, security, and stakeholder teams
• Take ownership of technical deliverables from initial design through development, deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, or full stack development
• Strong hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer with meaningful experience across frontend and backend development
• Strong experience with modern Angular, preferably with recent versions of the framework
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, including Java 17 or recent Java versions
• Strong experience developing enterprise applications using Spring Boot
• Strong hands-on experience designing and developing REST APIs and RESTful services
• Experience developing secure APIs and enterprise application integrations
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development
• Experience with serverless and/or containerized application architectures
• Strong understanding of secure software development practices
• Experience with authentication and authorization concepts and protocols
• Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, or Spring Security
• Strong experience with MySQL or similar relational database technologies
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to independently analyze requirements, develop technical solutions, and make sound engineering recommendations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical teams and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting IAM, identity, authentication, authorization, or enterprise security applications
• Experience working within a cybersecurity, security engineering, or identity management organization
• Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless application development
• Experience with DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, ECS, or Fargate
• Experience migrating or modernizing applications from on-premises environments to AWS
• Experience with MongoDB
• Experience with Redis or other caching technologies
• Experience with Node.js
• Experience contributing to application architecture and technical design decisions
• Experience leading development efforts or mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated application deployments
