Must be licensed in good standing in Texas (required).Job Responsibilities- Review and execute documents requiring Attorney's signature for TX post judgment inventory.
- Communicate with Post Judgment Attorney Manager and clients in order to discuss details of cases
- Assist in responding to post judgment specific components of all client audits
- Monitor relevant legal rules, regulations, statutes, and case law
- Conduct research and analysis of legal problems
- Analyze the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents
- Prepare and file legal documents
- Oversee support staff, assist in managing workflow as needed
- Respond to inquiries from the collection and/or legal staff on handling post judgment accounts. Maintain job aides for team
Required Skills and Experience- Graduate of an accredited institution by the American Bar Association (ABA) with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
- Licensed to practice law in the state of TX required
- Demonstrated case analysis ability and a track record of proven settlement skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Proficient in internet and online research
- Ability to operate basic office equipment such as a copy machine, printer, scanner, and computer
- Effective oral and written communication skills with knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation usage
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for details
- Ability to be flexible to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require it
