Job DescriptionACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIREDWe are seeking a high-performing
SIGINT Protocol & Analytic Developer to join our team in driving critical signal discovery and analytic tradecraft. In this mission-essential role, you will apply deep domain expertise across SIGINT sub-disciplines-including COMINT (Communication Externals/COMEXT), ELINT, and Network/Protocol analysis-to process, decode, and evaluate complex RF and modern communication technologies. Utilizing specialized analysis tools such as SEDB, THRESHER, and Wireshark, you will analyze collection and tasking flows, uncover hidden signal targets, and develop automated tradecraft solutions. Collaborating closely with external mission partners, you will bridge signal processing, data discovery, and analytic engineering to keep our national cyber capabilities ahead of evolving adversary communications.
The annual base salary range for this role is $184,000-$218,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required SkillsSIGINT Sub-discipline Mastery: Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in COMINT (specifically COMEXT), ELINT, and network/protocol analysis.
- RF & Modern Communications: Deep technical familiarity with modern radio frequency (RF) concepts, digital signal characteristics, and emerging communications technologies.
- Discovery Tradecraft & Tasking Flows: Proven ability to execute discovery missions, analyze collection and tasking flows, and map signal environments using targeted analytic methodologies.
- Specialized Analysis Tooling: Operational proficiency with IC and industry software tools, including SEDB, THRESHER, and Wireshark for packet and protocol inspection.
- Analytic & Tradecraft Development: Strong track record in analytic tradecraft development-translating signal signatures into reproducible, automated analytical models.
- Cross-Agency Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience driving mission success across multi-organization, multi-agency partner environments.
