Full Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Develops and maintains customer relationships with all relevant individuals within the district, at all organizational levels.
  • Conducts regular customer visits to ensure customer satisfaction and identify service opportunities.
  • Manages, coaches, and directs all Customer Engineers within the district.
  • Responsible for performance management, including salary planning, career development, performance evaluations, goal setting, and corrective actions when necessary.
  • Provides regular business updates to employees, including information on business performance, new hires, new products, and organizational initiatives. May invite guest speakers as appropriate.
  • Initiates and manages reports required to support business operations and performance tracking.
  • Serves as the primary interface with Product Divisions regarding technical support, training, spare parts, and product reliability.
  • Oversees the CSD Award Program, including quarterly results, elections, and announcements.
  • Monitors the mentor program to ensure all new engineers are assigned a designated mentor.
  • Executes established customer escalation procedures.
  • Partners with the District Sales Engineer on account planning activities.
  • Develops service support plans for system sales and provides recommendations to CSD Management, Sales, and Field Engineering teams.
  • Responsible for district financial forecasting and cost management.
  • Accountable for achieving district financial performance objectives.
  • Oversees system installations, including planning, reporting, execution, pre-installation meetings, start-up meetings, and process support identification.
  • Manages the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process.
  • Evaluates Customer Engineer effectiveness and productivity, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Ensures accuracy and compliance of Customer Engineer time tracking through regular reviews, audits, and approvals.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
