Segment: Cloud & Service Providers / Power & Grid / Buildings / Industries

Job Description

As Services Incubation Hub Manager, you own a portfolio of 4 to 7 incubations end to end within your segment, constantly juggling which bets to advance and which to drop, moving fast between customer conversations, prototypes and business cases.

You are an entrepreneur and a technology lover at heart. You stay close to the tools, data and architecture behind every bet, but you never lose sight of the customer or the business case. You think in terms of business, not just technology.

You don't stop at challenges. You meet them with creativity and agility, and you fight for the ideas that deserve investment, the ones with real potential to become new services offers.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Ownership
  • Own a portfolio of 4 to 7 incubations end to end within your segment, from early idea through customer validation to league handshake
  • Continuously prioritize the portfolio, deciding in real time which bets to advance, pause or drop
  • Juggle multiple incubations concurrently at different stages, without losing momentum on any of them

Entrepreneurial & Technical Fluency
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine love of technology to every bet, staying close to the tools, data and architecture behind each incubation
  • Balance technical curiosity with business discipline, keeping the customer and the commercial case at the center of every technically interesting idea

Customer-Centric Validation
  • Keep the customer at the center of every incubation, testing real problems with real customers before committing further investment
  • Translate customer signals into decisions: what to build next, what to test, what to kill

Creative Problem-Solving & Resilience
  • Meet obstacles with creativity and agility
  • Fight for the ideas that deserve investment, building the evidence and the narrative needed to keep a promising bet alive

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Draw on the Hub's transverse capabilities (prototyping and agentic ops, venture and business design, strategy and portfolio governance, community and ecosystem) to move each incubation faster
  • Own the relationship with the receiving League for each incubation, preparing and leading the handshake when a bet is ready to scale
