2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required
Ford Certification is a must
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, proficient in using diagnostic tools

Responsibilities
Perform repairs as per the repair order efficiently and to dealership standards
Test-drive vehicles and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools
Diagnose and repair various automotive systems including engine, transmission, and electrical
Communicate with Service Advisors about additional service needs and time estimates
Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications

Salary Range: $50,000 - $115,000

Service Technician Responsibilities:
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Service Technician Qualifications:
2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
