Full Job Description
Ericsson is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects across hyperscale data center environments throughout North America. This role is responsible for coordinating optical fiber installation, remediation, decommissioning, rack-and-stack, and data center build activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards. The ideal candidate is an organized problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers. Working closely with Service Delivery Managers and Program Leaders, the Project Manager will help coordinate project activities, manage schedules, track risks and dependencies, and ensure effective communication among stakeholders. Experience with data center infrastructure projects and deployment activities is preferred. What you will do: • As a Project Manager, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of data center infrastructure projects while helping ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and operational performance. • Manage day-to-day project activities for data center infrastructure deployments, ensuring deliverables are completed according to project schedules and requirements. • Coordinate project execution across internal teams, vendors, and field resources to support successful project delivery. • Track project milestones, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies, providing regular status updates to stakeholders. • Support customer communications by providing timely and accurate project updates and helping address project-related questions and concerns. • Assist in the resolution of project issues and escalations by coordinating with appropriate stakeholders and tracking actions to closure. • Maintain project documentation, reports, and records to ensure visibility into project performance and status. • Monitor project metrics and KPIs, identifying trends, risks, or potential delays and escalating concerns as needed. • Support resource planning activities and help coordinate project staffing requirements with delivery teams. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support initiatives that enhance project execution, efficiency, and quality. • Foster positive working relationships across cross-functional teams and contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused culture. The skills you bring: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • 5-8 years of experience in project management, service delivery, operations, telecommunications, data center infrastructure, and/or related fields. • Experience supporting infrastructure deployment projects, technology implementations, or data center activities. • Understanding of project management principles, including schedule management, risk management, issue tracking, and stakeholder communication. • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. • Experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide clear project updates to stakeholders. • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project challenges. Your Pay The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience. Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date.
