Description

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Absence and Leave Consultant to support critical Workday initiatives. This role will lead testing, reporting, deployment, and issue resolution activities while partnering with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of Canadian payroll and workforce solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep Workday functional expertise, active certifications, and the ability to work independently in a complex environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and own End-to-End (E2E), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Parallel Testing activities.
  • Design, build, and deliver Workday reports and analytics solutions.
  • Support Canadian Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Absence, and Leave (PATT) functions.
  • Partner effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive issue resolution through deployment activities.
  • Support Canadian payroll processes and workforce requirements.
  • Work independently to ensure successful testing, deployment, and solution delivery.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.


Requirements:
  • 10+ years of Workday experience.
  • Active Workday certifications.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Canadian Payroll, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Absence, and Leave (PATT).
  • Proven experience leading E2E, UAT, and Parallel Testing.
  • Strong reporting experience, including Advanced and Matrix Reports.
  • Ability to design, build, and deliver Workday reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Experience supporting Canadian payroll processes.
  • Experience working in unionized environments.
  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance, time tracking, Scheduling, and leave management processes.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
