Senior WMS Business Analyst - Frisco, TX
What You'll Do:
Golden State Foods is seeking a Senior Blue Yonder WMS Configuration and Technical Lead to support and advance the organization's warehouse management capabilities. GSF currently operates Blue Yonder/JDA WMS in an on-premise environment and requires an individual with significant hands-on configuration experience, strong technical expertise, and prior experience working with Blue Yonder in a SaaS model to help evaluate, prepare for, and support a potential future SaaS upgrade path. The position partners with Operations, IT, Blue Yonder, and third-party providers to deliver scalable configuration, support integrations and production stability, reduce unnecessary customization, and strengthen upgrade readiness across the current WMS environment.
In This Role, You'll:
WMS Configuration, Design, and SaaS Upgrade Readiness
Lead functional configuration of Blue Yonder/JDA WMS across inbound, outbound, inventory control, replenishment, labor, tasking, RF execution, handheld workflows, labeling, waving, allocation, and operational execution.
Translate business and operational requirements into scalable, upgrade-ready configuration and design decisions while minimizing unnecessary customization in the current on-premise environment.
Assess potential SaaS upgrade impacts across configuration, integrations, custom objects, RF flows, labels, reports, scheduled jobs, devices, and warehouse processes.
Partner with Blue Yonder and internal stakeholders to support roadmap planning, upgrade readiness, regression testing, defect triage, environment assessment, configuration validation, and deployment planning for a potential SaaS transition.
Technical Support, Integrations, and Production Stability
Serve as a functional and technical subject matter expert for Blue Yonder WMS, including MOCA, MOCASQL, SQL, DDA/Page Builder, Integrator, Jasper Reports, labels, scheduled jobs, interfaces, and application troubleshooting.
Support integrations between WMS and ERP, TMS, automation, reporting, labor, transportation, material handling, and warehouse-adjacent systems.
Troubleshoot production incidents by analyzing logs, traces, database activity, integration failures, job issues, RF/device behavior, and warehouse process exceptions.
Support handheld/RF devices, Zebra devices, voice solutions, label printers, and related warehouse technology issues in partnership with infrastructure and operations teams.
Business Partnership, Documentation, and Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with operations, business systems analysts, project managers, infrastructure, security, integration teams, and third-party partners to deliver reliable and supportable WMS solutions.
Create and maintain solution documentation, configuration design documents, test scripts, release notes, support procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
Drive standardization, simplification, automation, and continuous improvement across WMS configuration, technical support, release management, and deployment practices.
Participate in change management, cutover planning, validation activities, and production support rotation as required.
Additional Responsibilities
Follow applicable IT standards, processes, and methodologies, including Quality Assurance, Project Management Life Cycle, Software Delivery Life Cycle, release management, and production change management.
Perform other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned based on business and organizational needs.
What You'll Bring:
Education/Certification
Preferred four-year degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Management Information Systems, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Experience
8+ years of hands-on configuration and technical experience with Blue Yonder/JDA WMS, including significant responsibility for system configuration, solution design, upgrade support, and production support.
Experience working with Blue Yonder in a SaaS model and ability to apply that experience to an organization currently operating on-premise while preparing for a potential SaaS upgrade path.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and WMS processes, including receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, cycle counting, task management, RF execution, and labor management.
Experience supporting integrations between WMS and ERP, TMS, automation, reporting, labor, transportation, material handling, or other warehouse-adjacent systems.
Hands-on experience with WMS hardware and warehouse technologies, including label printers, scanners, RF handhelds, Zebra devices, and voice solutions.
Ability to evaluate business requests and determine whether they should be addressed through configuration, process change, integration, reporting, extension, or vendor engagement.
Ability to balance, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks across production support, enhancements, projects, upgrades, and operational needs.
Ability to work collaboratively across IT, Operations, vendors, project teams, and business stakeholders.
The Schedule & Setting:
Shift - Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm

Travel Requirements - Travel may be required up to 5-10% for project activities, site support, deployments, upgrades, or business meetings.
Pay & Benefits:
Pay Range (Base Pay): $150K Annually
Weekly pay (every Friday)
Other Compensation: May include shift differentials, overtime pay, bonuses, or other incentive pay as applicable to the position and location.
