Full Job Description
Mead & Hunt has an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated senior engineer to work with our water/wastewater group in Texas.

Responsibilities include:
  • Designing water/wastewater facility projects
  • Evaluating and analyzing existing projects
  • Preparing or modifying reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and designs for projects
  • Preparing design computations and quantity estimates
  • Serving as the project manager on various size projects
  • Developing construction cost estimates for projects within the department
  • Attending day and night client meetings as necessary
  • Both public and private sector clients will be served


Some travel will be required

Successful candidates will have all of the following:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, chemical, environmental or mechanical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
  • At least eight (8) years of relevant work experience
  • PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in TX within six months of hire


Ideal candidates will have any/all of the following:
  • Experience with water/wastewater facilities design (treatment, transmission, collection/distribution, pump stations and storage facilities)
  • Experience with construction administration tasks related to water/wastewater projects
  • Experience with process and hydraulic modeling
  • Project management experience
  • Texas Professional Engineering license
