Responsibilities

  • Identify resources, timing, and priorities for Inventory Program implementation
  • Act as primary contact for the Implementation team during new startup go-lives
  • Evaluate new business development deals and provide staffing model insights
  • Liaise with Legal to review contracts and ensure KPI alignment
  • Coordinate deployment efforts and resource allocation for accounts
  • Write CWR and BRD documents to facilitate IT improvements
  • Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for Inventory Control

Your role on the team:

  • Identifies resources, timing and prioritization for the implementation of the Inventory Program across the organization. Provides on-site support for the actual implementation and training in each account.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for the Implementation team for new startups providing on-site support for go live, training and improvement where needed
  • Evaluates new business development deals, solutions and provides insight as to the feasibility of the staffing model design as it relates to the KPI objectives that are established
  • Acts as the liaison for the Legal team, reviews contracts, provides input and ensures Inventory KPI metrics are in line with vertical account achievement and goals
  • Coordinates deployment efforts when resources are needed in an account
  • Liaison for the Information Technology team, writes CWR and BRD documents to assist in the development of new functionality to improve Inventory Control Practices, tracks and maintains prioritization of all open requests
  • Writes documentation for new code and answer questions during testing prior to deployment to ensure it will behave properly in all environments
  • Writes and maintains the Standard Operating Procedures for Inventory Control
  • Liaison to the Continuous Improvement team identifying, providing insight, answering questions and testing system enhancements which improve inventory integrity and drive overall performance improvement
  • Evaluates new technology and measures impact of system changes on Inventory Control results, hours and operational performance


What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or Engineering preferred
  • Strong experience with WMS systems, ie. Synapse, Manhattan, SAP
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Operations and Inventory Control in Supply Chain businesses; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in Third Party Logistics is a plus as that experience will relate most directly to the daily responsibilities of this individual
  • Experience in Project Management and Training with a focus on delivering content in through all mediums; in person, via teleconference, webinars and in a classroom
  • Strong PC skills with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access and Excel
