Description

Fundraising Strategy & Revenue Leadership
• Develop and lead a comprehensive annual and long-term Development strategy aligned with e3's mission, strategic plan, financial priorities, and ministry opportunities.
• Partner with the CEO and Finance leadership to establish annual Development revenue goals, growth targets, forecasts, and funding priorities.
• Maintain executive accountability for the broader Development revenue portfolio, including unrestricted and restricted giving, major gifts, special initiatives and campaigns, foundation and grant support, planned giving, and other appropriate philanthropic channels.
• Build and maintain a healthy fundraising pipeline and regularly evaluate revenue performance, donor trends, opportunities, risks, and progress toward established goals.
• Develop strategies to strengthen and diversify philanthropic revenue, reduce concentration risk, expand the donor base, and increase long-term financial sustainability.
• Oversee Development plans, departmental budgets, systems, resources, priorities, and performance measures.

Major Donor Development & Stewardship
• Personally manage a portfolio of significant current and prospective donors and actively cultivate, solicit, and steward major and transformational gifts.
• Build long-term, trust-based relationships with individuals, families, foundations, churches, and other partners capable of making significant investments in e3's mission.
• Lead efforts to expand the major-gift pipeline and ensure an appropriate volume of meaningful donor proposals, asks, and follow-up activities each year.
• Develop and oversee strategies for donor acquisition, engagement, retention, stewardship, reactivation, and increased giving.
• Ensure donors receive meaningful communication regarding ministry impact, outcomes, funding priorities, and the use of their gifts.
• Represent e3 Partners Ministry and its initiatives at donor meetings, ministry gatherings, events, conferences, and other external functions.

Development Team Leadership
• Provide leadership, strategic direction, coaching, and accountability to the Development team and its leaders.
• Establish clear departmental and individual goals, performance measures, portfolio expectations, priorities, and standards of excellence.
• Recruit, develop, retain, mentor, and appropriately structure a high-performing Development team capable of supporting current and future organizational needs.
• Create a culture of collaboration, accountability, donor service, continuous improvement, and results-oriented ministry.
• Maintain appropriate visibility into Development portfolios, pipelines, activities, and results while empowering team members to execute effectively.
• Address performance issues promptly and constructively and develop succession and talent strategies for the Development function.

Development Operations, Reporting & Organizational Collaboration
• Ensure fundraising systems, CRM practices, donor records, prospect research, reporting, portfolio management, and Development data support effective donor engagement and sound decision-making.
• Establish and monitor key Development metrics, dashboards, forecasts, and reports, and regularly communicate performance and recommendations to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team
• Collaborate closely with Finance to support gift reporting, forecasting, budgeting, reconciliation, donor restrictions, campaign accounting, and appropriate financial controls.
• Partner with Marketing and Communications to develop effective donor communications, cases for support, proposals, campaigns, impact stories, and fundraising materials.
• Engage the CEO, board members, Executive Leadership Team, Senior Leadership Team, field leaders, ministry leaders, and other internal partners in donor cultivation and fundraising efforts as appropriate.
• Equip organizational leaders to effectively communicate e3's mission, ministry strategies, impact, and funding priorities to current and prospective donors.
• Maintain a strong understanding of e3 Partners Ministry, its initiatives, field strategies, ministry outcomes, organizational priorities, and financial needs.

Governance, Ethics & Compliance
• Ensure Development practices comply with applicable laws, organizational policies, donor restrictions, gift-acceptance practices, confidentiality requirements, biblical principles, and ECFA standards.
• Protect donor trust and ensure responsible stewardship of donor relationships, gifts, and confidential information.
• Identify and communicate fundraising risks, opportunities, market trends, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
• Participate in organizational strategic planning and other Senior Leadership Team responsibilities as assigned.

Ministry
• Serve as an ambassador of the Christian faith and represent Christ and the beliefs and mission of e3 Partners Ministry.
• Perform responsibilities in accordance with Scripture, e3's Doctrinal Statement, organizational values, and biblical standards.
• Encourage spiritual growth and Christ-like character through personal example, relationships, and appropriate ministry engagement.
• Represent e3 with integrity, humility, wisdom, and a servant-leadership mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven record of personally cultivating, soliciting, and securing significant gifts, including six-figure gifts.
• Strong strategic and financial acumen with the ability to translate organizational priorities into effective fundraising strategies and measurable revenue plans.
• Executive-level leadership presence with the ability to communicate vision and inspire confidence with donors, staff, board members, ministry leaders, and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to establish measurable goals and hold self and others accountable for results.
• Strong leadership, coaching, team-development, organizational design, and performance-management capabilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, ministries, and organizational levels.
