Position Overview

International has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Vocational Sales Manager. The Senior Vocational Sales Manager will report into the Vocational Sales Director and oversee the sale of International Trucks to dealerships, government, fire, and emergency customers in an assigned territory.

 

 

This is a highly visible, customer-facing road warrior role requiring extensive travel throughout the territory to build relationships, support dealers, engage customers, and drive business growth. In this position, you will be responsible for defining and executing strategies that deliver year-over-year volume and profit growth while providing a best-in-class customer experience. The ideal candidate thrives in the field, enjoys frequent travel, and is passionate about developing lasting partnerships with customers and dealers.

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Managing relationships with dealers and represent them across relevant functional areas within International
  • Develop sales strategies and execution plans
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropiate truck configurations, and equipment
  • Lead the sales process from prosepcting and customer consultation through pricing, propsal, negotiation, and delivery
  • Achieve the pricing, market share, revenue and profit margin goals
  • Performs as a resource with high level knowledge of company products and services and introduces new products
  • Provide product expertise on hydraulics, liftgates and other vocational equipment
  • Support dealers and sales teams with product training
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of sales, product support or engineering experience
  • At least 1 years of lead experience

OR

  • Master's degree and at least 3 years of sales, product support or engineering experience
  • At least 1 years of lead experience

OR

  • At least 8 years of sales, product support or engineering experience
  • At least 1 years of lead experience
Additional Requirements
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills
  • Experience selling or supporting vocational trucks, commercial vehicles, or transportation equipment.
  • Understanding of hydraulic systems, electrical equipment, pumps, cylinders, valves, and other components commonly used in vocational truck applications
  • Capble of buliding strong Dealership networks and channel distribution
  • Strong knowledge of vocational truck and trailer applications, including truck-mounted equipment, hydraulics, electrical/electronic systems, and body-upfit integration.
  • Experience working with fire and emergency apparatus, utility equipment, cranes, aerial devices, dump bodies, and other vocational equipment is highly desirable.
  • MS Office Networks
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including extended overnight stays, to support customers and business opportunites throughout the market
