ABOUT THE ROLE
SANY Capital USA is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Vice President / Head of Financial Services to lead the company's captive finance organization in the United States. This executive is responsible for the overall performance, growth, risk management, and operational effectiveness of the finance business while developing competitive financing solutions that support the sale of SANY equipment through its dealer and customer networks.
The role has broad responsibility across P&L management, commercial strategy, credit and portfolio risk, operations, funding, technology, regulatory compliance, and organizational leadership. This individual serves as a key member of the senior leadership team and must demonstrate the ability to operate at the enterprise and Board level.
With current revenues over $500 million, SANY America continues to make strong progress and significant investments in the Americas market; the organization is now pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and is looking to move quickly beyond this initial platform and increase market share.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• P&L Ownership & Financial Performance: Own the full P&L for SANY Capital USA and deliver established revenue, profitability, net interest margin, ROE, ROA, portfolio growth, and operating expense targets.
• Financial Planning: Develop and manage annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial strategies.
• Performance Management: Establish performance metrics and dashboards to monitor financial, operational, portfolio, and commercial performance.
• Operating Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve operating efficiency, cost structure, productivity, and scalability as the business grows.
• Captive Finance Strategy: Develop and execute financing strategies that increase sales of SANY equipment and strengthen dealer and customer relationships.
• Financial Products: Design competitive retail finance, commercial lending, leasing, promotional finance, and dealer floorplan programs based on business and market needs; develop new financial products and programs that support SANY's long-term growth strategy.
• OEM Sales Support: Partner with SANY sales, dealer development, product, and executive leadership to align financing programs with commercial growth objectives.
• Market Intelligence: Evaluate market conditions, competitor programs, customer needs, and dealer economics to develop differentiated financing solutions.
• Credit Governance: Establish and maintain appropriate underwriting standards, credit policies, approval authorities, credit scoring methodologies, customer due diligence requirements, asset valuation, collateral requirements, documentation standards, and funding controls.
• Portfolio Risk: Monitor portfolio quality, concentrations, delinquencies, defaults, losses, and other key risk indicators; establish early-warning indicators and action plans to proactively address deteriorating portfolio performance.
• Collections & Recovery: Oversee collections, loss mitigation, repossession, asset recovery, remarketing, and other portfolio remediation activities.
• Risk-Balanced Growth: Balance commercial growth objectives with appropriate credit and enterprise risk management practices.
• Treasury & Capital Management: Develop funding and liquidity strategies that support portfolio growth and long-term business objectives; monitor liquidity, cost of funds, interest-rate exposure, leverage, and other financial risks.
• Funding Partnerships: Partner with corporate finance, banking partners, and other funding sources to ensure adequate and cost-effective access to capital.
• Funding Structures: Support securitization, warehouse facilities, credit facilities, or other funding structures as appropriate to the company's growth strategy.
• Operations: Lead the development of scalable loan and lease origination, servicing, payment, collections, and customer-support processes.
• Digital Transformation: Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of loan/lease management systems, digital origination platforms, CRM tools, and related financial technology.
• Systems Integration: Integrate finance platforms with SANY ERP systems, dealer management systems, and other enterprise applications.
• Automation: Drive automation and straight-through processing where appropriate to improve speed, accuracy, customer experience, and operating efficiency.
• Data Governance & Security: Establish strong data governance, reporting, cybersecurity, and information-security practices in partnership with IT and other functional leaders.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure financial services activities comply with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, licensing requirements, privacy requirements, and internal policies; establish and maintain effective compliance, internal control, enterprise risk, and governance frameworks appropriate for SANY Capital USA's business model.
• Risk Coordination: Partner with Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, Finance, and parent-company leadership to identify and address regulatory, operational, financial, and reputational risks.
• Audit & Remediation: Support regulatory examinations, external audits, internal audits, and remediation of identified findings.
• Management Controls: Maintain appropriate policies, procedures, approval authorities, segregation of duties, and management controls.
• Executive Reporting: Prepare and present financial, risk, portfolio, operational, and compliance reporting to executive leadership and the Board.
• Organizational Leadership: Build, develop, and lead a high-performing financial services organization capable of supporting significant business growth.
• Talent & Succession: Establish clear organizational structure, accountability, succession planning, performance expectations, and leadership development.
• Stakeholder Leadership: Partner effectively with SANY America, SANY Group, dealers, customers, financial institutions, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Strategic Advisory: Serve as a senior strategic advisor on financial services, customer financing, risk, growth, and capital allocation; demonstrate the leadership capability and enterprise perspective required to assume broader executive responsibilities as the organization grows.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Industry Experience: 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in captive finance, equipment finance, commercial lending, asset-based lending, leasing, specialty finance, banking, or a closely related financial services environment.
• Executive Leadership: Minimum of 6 years in senior leadership roles with significant business-unit, functional, or P&L accountability.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven experience building and leading cross-functional teams across credit, operations, sales finance, portfolio management, collections, technology, or related functions.
• Executive & Board Effectiveness: Demonstrated ability to operate effectively with executive leadership and Boards.
• Captive Finance Acumen: Strong understanding of captive finance business models, dealer networks, equipment lifecycle economics, manufacturing operations, and customer financing needs.
• Functional Expertise: Demonstrated expertise across several of the following areas: P&L management, commercial finance, credit risk, portfolio management, treasury/funding, collections, leasing, product development, operations, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and technology transformation.
• Risk & Governance: Strong understanding of financial services risk management and governance practices.
• Scalability: Demonstrated ability to scale processes, systems, and organizations to support business growth.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Industry Background: Experience within construction equipment, heavy equipment, automotive, transportation, industrial equipment, or another OEM-supported captive finance business.
• OEM Finance Programs: Experience developing financial products that directly support OEM and dealer sales objectives.
• Advanced Education: MBA, Master's degree in Finance, or other relevant advanced degree.
• Professional Credentials: CFA, CPA, or other relevant financial/risk credentials.

EDUCATION
• Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Location: Onsite, Peachtree City, Georgia.
This position operates primarily in an office environment. The employee will regularly work at a computer and may spend extended periods sitting, reviewing business information, preparing reports, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. The position may occasionally require movement throughout company offices or facilities for meetings, collaboration, document review, or other business activities. Minimal physical exertion is generally required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Occasional (=25%); additional travel may be required based on executive and business needs.
Travel may include company meetings, Board or leadership meetings, financing partner meetings, audits, business reviews, and visits to other SANY locations, dealers, customers, financial institutions, regulators, or business partners. International travel may be required.
