Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily cash positioning and bank balance reports; monitor revolver availability and raise constraints promptly.
  • Initiate and approve wires and ACH transactions; manage bank portal user entitlements and workflows.
  • Maintain bank accounts, including KYC requirements, and manage account openings and closings.
  • Conduct daily and monthly cash and bank reconciliations to resolve discrepancies independently.
  • Create borrowing base certificates and assist with lender reporting and debt compliance schedules.
  • Support liquidity, cash flow reporting, and assist with cash flow forecasting on a weekly and monthly basis.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Treasurer, the Senior Treasury Analyst supports the company's daily treasury operations and the reconciliations and reporting that support them. This is a hands-on role. Core responsibilities include daily cash positioning, bank portal administration, wire and ACH execution, bank account administration, cash and bank reconciliations, liquidity reporting, and support for borrowing base and lender reporting. The Senior Treasury Analyst works closely with Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit, and operations, and serves as a cross-trained backup across adjacent treasury functions. Success in this role depends on accuracy, follow-through, and ownership of recurring work, with the opportunity to take on cash forecasting, debt compliance, and bank relationship responsibilities over time.

Responsibilites

  • Prepare the daily cash position and bank balance reporting across operating, lockbox, and blocked accounts; monitor revolver availability and elevate constraints in a timely manner

  • Initiate and release wires and ACH payments; administer bank portals, including users, entitlements, and approval workflows

  • Maintain bank account administration, including KYC, signer updates, account openings and closings, and supporting documentation

  • Perform daily and monthly cash and bank reconciliations; research reconciling items and drive them to resolution rather than escalating them unresolved

  • Prepare borrowing base certificates, ineligibles and reserve schedules, and supporting detail; assist with lender reporting and debt covenant compliance

  • Support liquidity, cash, and debt reporting for management, and assist with weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting

  • Support cash application and AR operations, including lockbox, ACH and wire receipt posting, credit memo linking, and unapplied cash cleanup

  • Prepare treasury-related account reconciliations, lead schedules, journal entries, and month-end close support, and respond to internal and external audit requests

  • Assist in administering financial assurance instruments, including letters of credit, surety bonds, bid bonds, and performance bonds

  • Serve as a cross-trained backup for other treasury functions, including debt and financing schedules and credit administration; cross-training and knowledge transfer are a core expectation of this role

  • Document existing treasury processes and procedures, then improve them over time to strengthen control and consistency

  • Support ad hoc treasury, banking, compliance, and cross-functional finance projects as needed


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; Master's degree, CTP or CPA certifications a plus

  • 4 to 7 years of hands-on corporate treasury experience; candidates whose recent roles have been primarily managerial or oversight-focused are generally not a fit for this position

  • Direct, hands-on experience working in commercial bank portals, including originating wires and ACH and managing users and entitlements

  • Advanced Excel skills. Must be able to take imperfect data, reconcile it, identify what is wrong, and produce dependable output with limited direction

  • Accounting literacy sufficient to work comfortably around AR, cash application, lead schedules, month-end close support, audit requests, and unapplied cash; a CPA is not required

  • Working familiarity with borrowing base and BBC mechanics, ineligibles, FCCR and covenant compliance, DSO and aging, revolver or ABL structures, and debt schedules

  • Clear, practical communicator able to work professionally with banks and senior management while partnering day to day with Accounting, AP, AR, and Credit Demonstrated ownership and attention to detail, with a willingness to perform recurring operational work; oilfield services, energy, or other asset-heavy industry experience and ERP exposure such as Syteline are a plus
