Senior Project Engineer - AviationTampa, FL, Orlando, FL, & Locations through Southeast U.S.We are seeking a self-motivated
Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager to support our aviation projects and pursuits in the Southeast. ICE has a highly successful operation in Florida with numerous on-call contracts, and a healthy backlog of work. Relocation will be paid for qualified candidates. Hybrid of Office and Work from Home available.
Position ResponsibilitiesAs
Project Engineer/Project Manager, the daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Design runways, taxiways, aprons and other airfield projects using FAA Advisory Circulars
- Design landside facilities such as roads, parking, and utilities
- Supervise designers and CADD technicians
- Performs and/or leads civil design using knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Works with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of the Aviation Service Director.
- Manage construction projects as the owner's representative
- Obtain permits from local municipalities and statewide agencies

Education and Experience Requirements- Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of aviation design experience with detailed knowledge of FAA standards is preferred.
- Senior positions are available for candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in design programs is preferred (AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
- Ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision with a focus on client service.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness and ability to learn new job skills.
