About the team: The Trade Desk's Channel Partners team is hiring a Senior Trading Specialist. The Senior Trading Specialist will be a trusted consultant who helps a portfolio of Internal Software Vendors (ISV) maximize performance on The Trade Desk. Core responsibilities include advisement on testing and measurement frameworks, supporting technical integrations between ISVs and The Trade Desk platform, and leadership and stewardship of data storytelling.
What you'll do: - As a lead Trader, co-own a portfolio of business comprised of 7-10 ISV client partners.
- Collaborate with Account Management, Business Development and Technical Account Management colleagues to drive portfolio performance and growth.
- Troubleshoot advanced platform and performance issues across multiple channels including Display, Online Video, Connected TV, Audio, and DOOH.
- Become a platform expert who can consult and educate partners on new product updates, platform best practices, and industry developments that are relevant to their utilization of The Trade Desk platform.
- Provide customer feedback to Product Managers to ideate on platform and product improvements.
- Utilize Excel and other advanced analytics tools, such as Vertica, to analyze large sets of data and create actionable insights.
- Consistently provide impactful insights and data to ISV stakeholders.
- Establish deep trust with ISV stakeholders to drive shared business forward.
Who you are: - 6+ years of consultative, client-facing work within ad tech and digital marketing. Working hands-on-keys in a DSP is strongly preferred.
- Fluency in understanding the DSP/ad tech landscape is required.
- Passionate about working in a HOK capacity to drive performance on behalf of our client partners.
- Strong technical experience and the ability to perform at a high strategic level.
- Strong experience with client and partner management, day to day client-facing communication, and presenting in front of clients.
- Strong quantitative skills using tools such as MS Excel and Vertica.
- Experience with Tableau and Salesforce preferred.
- The ability to communicate complex topics to client stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and internal stakeholders to drive outcomes on behalf of our client partners.
In accordance with various US state laws, the range provided is the Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as variable compensation-based incentives and commissions.
