Full Job Description
About the Role

Datadog's Technology Partnerships team builds and scales partnerships with the technology companies that matter most to our customers from AI/ML platforms to data platform providers. As a Technology Partner Manager, you will own the full, 360-degree relationship with a portfolio of strategic Technology Partners, with a particular focus on cutting-edge AI/ML and Data Platform companies. You'll be the connective tissue across three pillars of partnership: co-build (joint product and integration roadmaps), co-market (joint awareness and demand generation), and co-sell (joint pipeline and revenue). This is a highly cross-functional, relationship-driven role that requires equal comfort in a product roadmap discussion, a marketing planning session, and a sales enablement meeting.

What You'll Do
  • 360° Relationship Ownership: Own the end-to-end partner relationship for a portfolio of AI/ML and Data Platform technology partners, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor across product, engineering, marketing, and sales stakeholders on both sides.
  • Co-Build: Partner closely with Datadog Product and Engineering teams to identify, prioritize, and drive joint integration roadmaps; ensure integrations are built, launched, and continuously improved to meet customer needs.
  • Co-Market: Design and execute joint marketing programs including webinars, blog posts, customer case studies, launch campaigns, and event collaboration with Datadog product marketing and partner marketing teams to build awareness and demand for joint solutions.
  • Co-Sell: Build and execute go-to-market and co-sell plans with Datadog channel team, partner field and sales teams; enable Datadog's global sales organization and partner sellers on joint value propositions, use cases, and co-sell motions to drive pipeline and revenue.
  • Program Management: Track partnership commitments, joint business plans, and success metrics across the co-build, co-market, and co-sell pillars; report regularly to leadership on partnership health, pipeline, and revenue impact.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Act as the connective tissue between partners and internal Datadog teams including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Channels & Alliances to keep joint initiatives moving and unblock issues quickly.
  • Marketplace & Routes to Market: Ensure Datadog integrations are well-represented in partner marketplaces and directories, and identify new routes to market with partners, including joint listings on cloud and partner marketplaces.
  • Enablement: Create and maintain internal and partner-facing content including playbooks, battlecards, and training that helps both organizations clearly articulate the joint value proposition.
  • Market Awareness: Track trends across the AI/ML and data platform ecosystems to identify new partnership opportunities and ensure Datadog's partner strategy stays ahead of a fast-moving market.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field; an MBA is a strong plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in technology partnerships, alliances, partner management, or business development at a software, cloud, or SaaS company.
  • Experience managing the full partnership lifecycle including technical/product collaboration, marketing programs, and sales/co-sell motions
  • Comfortable working with technical products; able to understand integration architectures and translate them into clear business value for marketing and sales audiences.
  • Familiarity with the AI/ML and/or data platform ecosystem (e.g., LLM providers, vector databases, data warehouses, data pipeline and orchestration tools)
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Strong program and project management skills; able to juggle multiple partner relationships and initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to create compelling partner-facing and internal enablement materials.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to utilize data to inform and drive strategic partnership decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation and executive-level relationship management skills; an outstanding communicator.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment with a bias toward action.
