Job Description:Microchip has an exciting opportunity for a
Senior TechnicianII-Engineering at our facility in
Beverly, Massachusetts. This role offers the opportunity to operate in a highly technical and scientific environment, employing a variety of manufacturing and testing techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
- Troubleshoot product test failures to the component level and determine root causes.
- Generate NCRs for production test issues.
- Support Product Engineers in resolving production-related issues.
- Assist operators with testing and troubleshooting production hardware.
- Perform failure analysis using strong troubleshooting techniques.
- Operate RF/Microwave test equipment and fixtures.
Requirements/Qualifications:Essential Qualifications:- Associate's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience and a proven track record of excellence in electronics assembly and testing.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and drawings.
- Experienced in soldering and cable assembly.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and remain highly organized.
- Comfortable working with cross functional teams.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast paced environment.
- Strong commitment to teamwork and process.
- Demonstrated proficiency in space qualified construction and testing techniques.
- Demonstrated proficiency in documentation generation, organization, and storage.
Desired Qualifications:- BS/BA in Engineering / Engineering Technology.
- J-STD Certification (terminals and wires, through hole technology and surface mount technology)
- Experience in High Precision timing, test, and measurement.
- Experience with Ultra High Vacuum systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in space qualified construction and testing techniques.
- Demonstrated RF design capabilities.
- FPGA programming experience.

The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $24.52 - $53.85.*
