Full Job Description

Rad AI's engineering and product organizations are growing quickly behind our award-winning product. You'll elevate your career in a mission-driven, high-growth environment where generative AI is transforming radiology workflows to save physicians time, reduce burnout, and improve patient care.

In this role you'll own program delivery for Rad AI Reporting, the product line that powers real-world radiology reporting, streamlines workflows, and reduces cognitive load for clinicians. You'll sit within Product Management and split your time between driving the reporting product roadmap with engineering and leading the client integration and deployment programs that get Reporting live inside complex health-system environments. That means owning integration go-lives end to end and being technical enough to roll up your sleeves when an HL7, FHIR, or PACS integration misbehaves.

What you'll be doing
New client integration
  • Align delivery of new vendor integrations at scale by coordinating with deployment resources and engineering resources to align delivery of new vendor integrations at scale.
  • Serve as the escalation and coordination point for integration issues during deployment, triaging and diagnosing HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and PACS/RIS/EHR integration problems and driving them to resolution with engineering, implementations, and customer teams.
  • Coordinate security reviews, BAAs/data-use agreements for new integration partners
  • Build repeatable playbooks, runbooks, and KPI dashboards that make integrations faster, more predictable, and measurable. This includes tracking key KPIs like time-to-go-live, defect rates, and adoption.
Reporting product delivery
  • Drive cross-functional execution of roadmap initiatives across the Reporting product line, partnering closely with engineering, design, implementations, and clinical teams.
  • Manage program schedules, scope, and dependencies by identifying risks early and developing mitigation strategies to keep delivery on track.
  • Own release coordination, covering QA, testing sign-off, and stakeholder readiness before each deployment.
  • Lead the rollout of major features, partnering with writing, implementation and customer success on plans, training, and documentation to roll out larger features and changes to our customers.
Communication and coordination
  • Own cross-functional communication for large reporting initiatives, keeping leadership, clinical stakeholders, and other business teams informed on progress, risks, and key decisions.
  • Drive quarterly planning cycles for the reporting team by facilitating the planning process, aligning stakeholders on priorities, and tracking commitments through to on-time delivery.
Who we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 6+ years as a Technical Program Manager in a software or healthcare-IT environment, with a track record delivering complex, cross-functional programs from inception through launch.
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer-facing integration and deployment programs, including health-system or enterprise go-lives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - able to translate between deeply technical engineers and non-technical clinical or IT stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and pragmatic problem-solving skills with sound technical judgment.
  • Experience building KPI frameworks and executive-ready reporting to quantify productivity, quality, and adoption.
Technical skills - integration diagnosis & troubleshooting (required)

This role requires someone who can independently read an interface spec, inspect a live message, and isolate where a failing integration is breaking - not just route tickets.
  • HL7 v2: Able to read and interpret message structure (MSH, PID, OBR, OBX, ORM/ORU segments), spot malformed or missing fields, and trace where a message fails in the pipeline.
  • FHIR: Comfortable with REST APIs, common resources (Patient, DiagnosticReport, ImagingStudy, ServiceRequest), JSON/XML payloads, and reading API/auth errors - OAuth2 and SMART on FHIR a plus.
  • DICOM & PACS/RIS: Working knowledge of DICOM objects and key tags, study/series/instance hierarchy, and how worklist (MWL) and image/report flow moves through PACS and RIS systems.
  • EHR integration: Familiarity with how orders and results flow between EHR, RIS, PACS, and reporting/dictation systems, and where integration points commonly break.
  • Interface engines: Hands-on experience with Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, or Cloverleaf - tracing messages, reading channel logs, and understanding routing and transformation.
  • Diagnostic toolkit: Comfortable reading application and interface logs, using API testing tools (e.g. Postman), inspecting network connectivity (VPN/firewall, ports, TLS), and writing basic queries or scripts (SQL, light Python/shell) to investigate issues.
  • Clinical workflow context: Understands radiology reporting and speech/dictation workflows well enough to reason about how an integration defect shows up for an end-user radiologist.
Nice to haves
  • Enterprise healthcare delivery experience in regulated environments, with working knowledge of HIPAA, PHI handling, and SOC 2 practices.
  • Track record leading complex integrations and go-lives with large health systems or radiology groups, including security reviews and cross-vendor dependencies.
  • Change-management experience with radiologist end users.
  • Exposure to clinical AI regulatory considerations - risk management, documentation, and when/where FDA or other approvals may apply.
  • Experience collaborating with AI/ML engineering teams.
