We're looking for a Senior Consultant in PowerPlan's Technology Consulting practice to independently own complex technical delivery on Cloud Delivery and Integration projects — with real autonomy. You'll move beyond executing defined tasks to owning outcomes end-to-end: leading client conversations, making the judgment calls that protect solution quality, and shaping how the broader team solves problems.

You'll also work closely with Consultants coming up behind you, coaching and sharing what you know in a practice that treats knowledge transfer as a core part of the job, not an extra.

Success will be measured by how independently you can own complex technical delivery end-to-end, how early you surface risk before it becomes a delivery problem, and by how much more effective the Consultants you coach become over time.

• Independently deliver complex technical work on Cloud Delivery and Integration projects — from discovery and design through build, testing, deployment, and stabilization — with limited day-to-day oversight.
• Make sound technical recommendations that balance client need with PowerPlan standards, maintainability, and long-term support, and surface technical risks and assumptions before they become delivery problems.
• Prefer standard, reusable PowerPlan patterns over customization, and make any exception explicit and defensible; use root-cause analysis instead of guesswork.
• Facilitate client discussions and translate complex technical issues for both technical and non-technical audiences, moving assigned topics toward clear decisions.
• Own the written follow-up from material discussions — meeting notes, decision logs, owners, and due dates — rather than leaving it to someone else.
• Coach Consultants through reasoning and troubleshooting approach rather than simply providing answers, and share reusable patterns and lessons learned.
• Decompose technical work into credible estimates, flag scope changes early, and surface rework or unexpected effort before it erodes schedule or margin.

• Several years of enterprise software implementation, technical consulting, systems integration, conversion, upgrade, or related Professional Services experience, with demonstrated ability to independently deliver complex technical work across project phases.
• Experience authoring technical designs, estimating work, and troubleshooting complex issues, with the judgment to prefer standard, supportable patterns over unnecessary customization.
• Strong written, verbal, and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues for both technical and non-technical audiences and drive discussions to clear decisions.
• A demonstrated coaching mindset — comfortable working through reasoning and troubleshooting approach with others rather than simply providing answers.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality, communication, and follow-through, and to recognize and quantify the delivery impact of scope changes.
• Ability and willingness to travel to client locations as required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Preferred

• Experience specifically with PowerPlan's Cloud Delivery or Integration product suite.
• Prior experience coaching or mentoring less senior consultants in a formal capacity.
• Exposure to Professional Services economics — utilization, margin, or engagement profitability metrics.

While we strive to accommodate flexible working arrangements when sensible, there will be times when onsite work is required. This could include scheduled office days, team meetings, client meetings, or special events.
