About the Role

You'll be a trusted technical advisor and advocate for some of Airship's largest and most complex enterprise clients. With deep knowledge of our platform and the digital marketing landscape, you'll guide clients through advanced integrations, provide strategic insights, and help them get the most out of Airship's technology. You're a natural problem-solver who thrives on complex challenges, enjoys mentoring others, and knows how to communicate technical concepts to any audience, from developers to the C-suite.
What You'll Do*
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of strategic, high-value enterprise clients
  • Own and manage critical customer escalations, ensuring rapid resolution and clear communication with all stakeholders
  • Drive strategic technical account planning and lead regular business reviews with clients
  • Provide expert guidance on complex product integrations, architectural best practices, and system optimization
  • Act as a liaison between clients and Airship's Product and Engineering teams, advocating for features and solutions that address enterprise-level needs
  • Mentor and coach other Technical Account Managers, sharing your expertise and helping to onboard new team members
  • Collaborate with Solutions leadership to identify opportunities for expanding Airship's footprint within client organizations
  • Author advanced documentation, best practice guides, and technical content to enhance the customer experience
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Technical Account Management policies and procedures
  • Use AI tools to drive efficiencies, automate processes, and anticipate customer needs, helping your clients stay ahead of the curve

What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of technical, client-facing experience working with enterprise accounts
  • Advanced ability to read and write code in Python, Java, Swift, or a similar object-oriented language
  • Strong knowledge of APIs and complex system integrations
  • Familiarity with Linux and/or Mac OS X command line
  • Comfort working with iOS and Android mobile platforms and their development tools
  • Experience in digital marketing solutions (mobile, web analytics, optimization, email, SMS) and SaaS environments
  • A track record of success mentoring and supporting team members
  • Proven ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including marketers, technical architects, and executive leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical topics to diverse audiences
We'd Be Delighted If You Also Have
  • Proficiency in Spanish, and/or Portuguese (written and spoken)
  • Experience with digital wallet platforms like Apple Wallet or Google Wallet
  • Advanced knowledge of email and SMS compliance and configuration
  • Relevant industry certifications
Work Location & Travel Requirements

Airship's 'Digital First' approach to work means that for the majority of our roles, work can be performed remotely, either some or most of the time. Airship believes that flexible work contributes to a more productive and more equitable work environment, and that Airshippers are able to collaborate, innovate, and support one another across different locations and timezones.

Some roles may require that employees perform their work from a specific location to support business activities, and/or be within proximity to an Airship office location or customer or partner locations, while other roles can be performed 100% remotely.

This position is fully remote and may require up to 10% travel based on business needs or as requested by your manager.
Compensation
Starting Pay Range: $100,000-$125,000 USD per year

This is a good faith estimate of the base compensation we reasonably expect to pay for this position upon hire. Actual starting pay may vary based on factors such as relevant skills, work experience, market demands, and location. All offers include stock options so employees have the opportunity to benefit from Airship's success.
