This role will drive the design, and integration of complex systems using advanced models and tightly coupled software toolchains. This role bridges architecture planning and development to ensure a seamless "digital thread" from concept through production. Selected engineers will collaborate with fellow colleagues to solve complex technical tasks while becoming experts with and deploying cutting edge modeling and analysis tools.

Responsibilities
• Work on a cross-functional team to develop cutting edge software solutions for DoD mission critical programs of record
• Enable/support development of automation capabilities and tying the Digital Thread
• Define, design, and deliver bounded tool adapters to connect tools, data and simulation products, and user workflows
• Work within an Agile Project Management framework and DevSecOps culture
• Collaborate with stakeholders including customers, teammates and partners
• Architect connected ecosystems (DevSecOps pipelines) to enable continuous, automated data exchange
• Ensure requirements trace accurately across hardware, software, and test environments to create a single source of truth
• Implement adapters and Command and Control (C2)/LVC interfaces, and integrate Government off the Shelf (GOTS) LVC tools
• Integrate third-party tool adapters; including software libraries, command line applications/plug-ins, and desktop applications/plug-ins
• Support scenario creation, LVC orchestration and real-time monitoring of simulation
• Experience working with visualization application software

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar
• 5+ years leading projects employing Digital/Systems Engineering
• Solid understanding of systems lifecycle processes
• Ability to develop systems deliverables, to include requirements, CONOPs, APIs, IDD/ICDs, SDDs, test plans/procedures
• Ability to work closely with software engineers to evolve the systems architecture
• Ability to analyze problems with a flexible and creative approach, manage complex tasks and adapt to rapidly changing requirements
• Ability to learn new technologies rapidly and implement in a dynamic environment
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and customer-facing skills
• Current DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance

Desired Qualifications
• Experience with GOTS MS&A tools (AFSIM, EWIRDB/TMAP, NGTS, OneSAF or similar)
• Experience with LVC environment and tools
• Experience with COTS MS&A tools: MATLAB, Ansys Minerva, AGI STK, ModelCenter, or similar)
