About the OpportunityMendaera is looking for a Systems Engineer to support the successful commercialization of the Focalist system; define solutions that address unmet needs in healthcare; quantify those solutions with engineering specifications and KPIs; lead system level prioritization and execution. The position reports to Mendaera's Systems Engineering Manager, and will collaborate closely with our product management and engineering teams.
Salary range: $170,000 to $185,000

Systems Engineer responsibilities include:- Lead cross-functional teams to design and develop new features for the Focalist System
- Understand the system from both a technical and user perspective, and drive definition and development of the system accordingly
- Work with product to translate clinical and business requirements to design input requirements and technical specifications
- Generate engineering studies and risk assessments to bound technical problems and clearly communicate trade-offs between engineering solutions
- Develop test methods to accurately characterize and verify the system design against performance requirements
- Integrate and debug prototypes, maintain configuration and documentation records of verification candidates
- Maintain risk file documents, including FMEA and System Hazard analysis
- Prioritizing engineering feature sets and driving system level execution
- Tracking engineering requirements and KPIs across development lifecycle
