OverviewResponsibilities
Our Senior Systems Administrator designs, implement, and administer all dealership computer, network, telephony, and security systems in a Windows / Cisco / Cisco Webex environment, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a senior-level technical resource for the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of all dealership computer, network, telephony, and security systems
- Administers and maintains the Windows Server environment, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, file and print services, and virtualization infrastructure
- Designs, configures, and maintains Cisco network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points across all dealership locations
- Administers Cisco Webex Calling, Webex Meetings, and related unified communications platforms, including user provisioning, call routing, and system upgrades
- Plans, tests, and implements upgrades, patches, and migrations to servers, network equipment, and business applications with minimal disruption to operations
- Manages and monitors system, network, and backup performance; proactively identifies and resolves issues before they impact the business
- Develops, implements, and maintains data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures for all critical systems
- Implements and manages network and system security, including firewalls, endpoint protection, access controls, and security patching
- Installs, configures, and troubleshoots hardware, software, and office equipment; provides escalated (Tier 2/3) technical support
- Sets up and trains new users on phones, voice mail, cellular devices, and business software systems
- Administers and maintains cloud infrastructure and services hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including provisioning, monitoring, and cost optimization of cloud resources
- Maintains accurate documentation of network diagrams, system configurations, licensing, and standard operating procedures
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (4-year) from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required
Minimum five year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
