Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior / Staff Software Engineer specializing in Go (Golang) to design, develop, and maintain large-scale backend services. The role involves building scalable microservices and distributed systems, leading architecture discussions, providing technical direction, and optimizing application performance, reliability, and maintainability. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions, mentor engineers, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to technical design, code reviews, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale backend services using Go (Golang).
• Build scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• Lead architecture discussions and provide technical direction for engineering initiatives.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, and production support.
• Lead complex technical projects and support effective engineering execution.
• Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD processes, and modern DevOps practices.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of software engineering experience for Senior-level candidates or 8+ years for Staff-level candidates.
• Strong hands-on development experience with Go (Golang).
• Experience building scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms, and system design.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices.
• Ability to lead complex technical projects and mentor team members.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in high-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning and system reliability.
• Experience conducting and completing coding assessments in Go.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud services, and observability tools.
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Background in Java development.
• Experience with event-driven architectures.
