We are looking for a
Senior Staff Engineer - CFD/Thermal to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to Sr. Director, Development Engineering.
Location: This position will be fully Onsite based in San Jose, CA
Role and Responsibilities: - Conduct CFD/Thermal studies for Energy server enclosures and site installations.
- Provide regular guidance on enclosure thermal management for Product development, from concept to production.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely inputs with accurate predictions.
- Collaborate with Cross-functional teams for feasibility study.
- Report and present results/recommendations across diverse groups.
Skills and Experience:- MS or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering.
- Deep understanding of the fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and CFD.
- 5+ years of industry experience utilizing CFD in Thermal management, in Electronics/Data center cooling.
- Highly skilled in CFD tools: ANSYS Icepak(preferred)/Fluent/Flotherm.
- Able to utilize first principles for quick calculations and CFD models.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter and a quick learner.
