As a Social Media Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for leading content development and reporting. Your role will involve working closely with Cencora social marketers to create meaningful engagement with our team and organization, highlighting our purpose, business strategy, global scale, and impact.
Responsibilities- Plan, develop and execute enterprise social media content and campaigns, including editorial planning, content development, copywriting, creative coordination, stakeholder review, approvals and publishing
- Collaborate with internal business partners and stakeholders to manage social media content based on strategic imperatives and priorities for our global team members.
- Identify compelling stories, emerging opportunities and cross-functional partnerships that strengthen Cencora's enterprise social presence and connect audiences to the company's purpose, people, expertise and impact.
- Leverage data and analytics to measure enterprise social media performance, identify audience and content trends, develop actionable insights, and continually improve content strategy and reporting
- Deep understanding of social media platforms and the industry's latest trends and best practices as a trusted advisor within the business.
- Contribute to social listening, monitoring and risk management efforts, helping identify emerging conversations and potential reputational issues and facilitating established escalation processes.
- Support the administration and adoption of enterprise social media tools and platforms, partnering with Marketing Technology and other teams on access, capabilities, training and ongoing optimization.
- Partner with Cencora's leadership and executive communications teams to shape executive presence and share best practices for maximizing thought leadership impact online
- Advance enterprise social media governance, including social media guidelines, account management, compliance processes, accessibility standards and resources that promote consistent social media practices across Cencora.
Education and Work Experience - 4+ years of professional experience working in social media, corporate communications, marketing, executive communications, digital communications, content strategy or related field.
- Requires broad training and knowledge in fields such as communications, writing, journalism, marketing, and business administration through the completion of a four-year Bachelor's Degree program or equivalent years of progressive experience in a corporate setting.
- Certification in communications, digital marketing, content strategy, program management, or equivalent is a plus.
Skills and Knowledge- Strong proficiency in writing and editing skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to craft content that feels relevant, engaging, timely, and valuable to the specific audience.
- Comfortability with Sprout Social Media Management for scheduling, reporting, and inbox management.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, deadlines, and approval processes simultaneously.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders, communications professionals, marketers, creative partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Curious, informed, and committed to continuous learning, with a focus on global healthcare trends, pharmaceutical supply chain dynamics, and Cencora's strategic priorities.
