Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Technical Lead to design, build, nd actively engineer our enterprise cloud and hybrid platform infrastructure. The candidate will directly write code, engineer systems, configure virtual networks, and troubleshoot complex production workloads.

Operating with a product-based environment, you will serve as the primary technical authority for our infrastructure, heavily leveraging Microsoft Azure as our primary cloud foundation alongside secondary multi-cloud setups (AWS/CGP). You will also directly manager underlying operating systems (Linuz & Windows) and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) across hybrid deployments.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
  • Directly provision, configure, and maintain production workloads on Microsoft Azure (Primary), with working operational experience on AWS and GCP.
  • Hands-on administration of enterprise virtualization platforms, specifically VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V, for hybrid cloud integrations and compute management.
  • Write, test, and deploy modular Terraform scripts for Azure, multi-cloud, and virtualized resource orchestration.
  • Automate configuration management, VM patching, and state compliance using Ansible playbooks.
  • Hands-on systems engineering, performance tuning, and hardening across enterprise Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve OS-level bottlenecks, kernel/system performance issues, disk/volume allocations, and active directory / identity integrations.
  • Directly deploy, manage, and scale enterprise Kubernetes clusters across public cloud and on-premise platforms: AKS (Azure), EKS (AWS), GKE (GCP), bare-metal/virtualized on-prem Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Implement ingress routing, service meshes, cluster security policies, CNI plugins, and monitoring setups.
  • Develop operational tooling, continuous delivery scripts, and cloud automation using Python (Mandatory) and advanced Shell/Bash (plus PowerShell for Windows automation).
  • Build, manage, and optimize enterprise build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitLab CI/CD.


Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Good ability to plan projects and tasks.
  • Good understanding of IT requirements for an end to end solution, including security, business continuity, disaster recovery, risk analysis and prepare business case
  • In-depth knowledge of the Windows OS (server and client) and the desktop operating environment. Linux and other mainstream OS knowledge will be helpful.
  • Advanced knowledge of infrastructure service management & diagnostic tools and processes
  • Apply solid CCNA-level networking fundamentals to configure VNet/VPC peering, Subnetting (CIDR), DNS, routing, load balancing, and secure site-to-site VPN connectivity between cloud and VMware/Hyper-V on-premise environments.
  • Strong Working and hand-ons knowledge:
    Cloud Platforms: Azure (Primary), AWS, GCP
    Virtualization: VMware (vSphere/ESXi), Hyper-V
    Operating Systems: Enterprise Linux, Windows Server
    Containers: Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE, On-prem), OpenShift
    IaC & Config: Terraform, Ansible
    Coding/Scripting: Python (Mandatory), Shell/Bash, PowerShell
    CI/CD Pipelines: Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD

Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.


Salary

The stated range includes Base Salary and target Short-Term Incentive (STI) compensation only. A comprehensive benefits package is offered in addition to this range.
